Never been too much into casual games, but this shouldn't be called as such. Heck it's basically harsher than Dark Souls! If you somehow end up failing round by dying or losing vital item to complete level, you will lose all progress up to that point, at least Souls gives you a chance to get back what is lost. The tag line on the Steam store page asks you to ponder if you are "tired of AN INDIE PIXEL-ART 2D SHOOTERS WITH A VERY DEEP STORY?" Personally I'm still quite partial to 'an indie pixel-art 2D shooters' but either way, if you enjoy puzzle games, you may want to check this out.
