Rynn’s Adventure is a 2D platformer game in which the player guides Rynn through a variety of environments teeming with magic and danger. The player will help Rynn combat the many enemies she encounters and outwit each of their fearsome generals.

Version 1.45 - Fixes and other updates

Greetings friends of Rynn! In the course of going through the Lotcheck process for our Wii U release, we learned of a few rare but not not impossible scenarios which could cause the game to become unresponsive or crash. We're now feeding these fixes back into the Steam version so that you can have the best possible experience playing Rynn's Adventure. Please note that if you are interested in getting Rynn's Adventure for your Wii U, it is now available on the North American eShop and you can take a look at the game page here: Rynn's Adventure for Wii U The changes in this release are: • Fixed: Race condition with in-stage menu that caused the game play to freeze under certain circumstances. • Fixed: Rare game crash when player loses to a boss and the stage being played is destroyed before the boss.

• Fixed: Out-of-bounds access in the player profile that resulted in a crash under certain conditions. • Fixed: Ensure Rynn is not affected through the ground by a certain water geyser in "Tranquil Falls Under Siege". If you haven't been following us since launch, please note that there were a substantial number of gameplay improvements, fixes and the much requested "Checkpoint" UI added in the previous patch, version 1.38. Please see the Version 1.38 Patch Notes for more details.

I think I uttered that phrase somewhere in the region of about 12 times before finally stopping and going to bed on the first night after...

Too many instadeaths to really get into a good flow like in the best platformers. Very frustrating when I die because my character gets stuck on a platform. Seems like maybe it wasn't playtested very much or just bad level design. Sound fx and animation could also use some work. On the positive side the graphics are very nice and when it's not glitching it provides a nice challenge.

it is a fun platformer and has a lot of challenge behind it. It took me a while to get through some levels. The only Con's I have about the game are the tutorials and sound files could use some work. Mainly the sound files though I feel if it had better sound the game would be that much better however for such a small dev team, I think they did great.
