Atriage is Available Now on Mac and Linux!

Thanks all for the support over the couple of weeks after launch, and as promised, Atriage is now for Mac and Linux! You can battle against other Commanders across multiple platforms in the Online Mode, or if you choose to, command your fleet against an enemy that will provide quite a challenge. The update also comes with a patch that will fix a couple of bugs, mainly directed at attacks from the Kaizer class ship and UI improvements. Thanks to all of you for the amazing support and have fun in battle!

I have seen kickstarters asking for 10 of thousands or more for similar types of turn based ship formation games but they fail in the execution or never come to be. Now, this game pulls it off, straight forward turn based strategy game without any fillers or unnecessaty complexity. I write this feature a week and a half after the Batu Games's Steam debut of Atriage. The score as it currently stands is 1-0. One Steam review. One. Many worse games garner significantly greater attention from the faithful players on Steam. If it were just the lack of trading cards I could understand but I fear that this game has been hidden. I fear it may have been hidden among all of the VR hype upon its release...

Atriage is a very simple conversion of what should maybe have been a board game. There are four types of pieces with different movement and engagement patterns on a 2D playing field. Every piece also has a number of hit points and when you eliminate an enemy piece you take its place, too, potentially opening yourself up to counter attacks in uncontrolled areas of the board.
