I ended up getting sucked into this. Reminds me a fair bit of the old Ultima games, blended with the original Sim City + other builders of the early 1990s. Wish it was easier to get resources moved around: maybe something I've missed, or part of the challenge?

I tried quite hard with Airship Asunder, but ultimately I found it wildly inaccessible. I must have read the text tutorial five seperate times, and completed the in-game tutorial at least twice. I think the main problem I had is that there is no accounting of units and resources anywhere. There is a metric ton of in-game text, but very little of it is really useful. Lets try to strip that down to what I really need...

A pretty sweet game. 4 Factions (+Neutral, but they have lower tier ships) Each faction has unique ships. You start in the neutral faction, which allows you to build your colony at peace. Colony building was really satisfying to me. Or, you could join a faction right away and get into colony raiding, skrimishes, etc to provide you with resources.
