Download the latest update for the game to get a more comprehensible and friendly updated HOLO-MAP. The primary giant trees, forest floor, main player icon, path to take in order, and final goal, are all outlined more prominently with better graphics. There is also a map-legend section so that you can refer to what an item in the map is. Hope it helps with a better gaming experience to help you get around the forest to your destination. For more details regarding the HOLO-MAP (but with old graphics) refer to previous posts and the video "Get the First Body Armor".
