The 8th Day puts you in a supposed "procedurally-generated" abandoned asylum where you have to escape. The story is sparse, the assets are a dime-a-dozen, and it honestly looks as though the game is abandoned at this point. That being said, it's not really unexpected anymore on Steam from a no-name developer on a game that costs a buck; just another cash grab-and-run backed by a plethora of lame excuses. The AI is...

It was kinda appealing, like getting the journals and exploring and discovering when turning back, doors are suddenly open or other weird things happening, falling boxes, rolling balls. But then a woman started to scream and it never stopped, couldn't focus, got annoyed and quit.
