“Thing-in-Itself” is a short interactive story about the struggles of understanding another human being. Using Immanuel Kant’s concept as a framework, it leads the player through stages of a relationship, exploring how perceptions may clash and surroundings can alter.

Actor reveal for Cabernet! Sam Retford from Ackley Bridge & Thing-in-Itself

Today, we are thrilled to introduce the voice actor behind Cabernet's Ivan: Sam Retford. Sam Retford, an actor of Australian-English descent, gained recognition for his portrayal of Cory Wilson in the Channel 4 drama series Ackley Bridge. Beyond his work on stage, he has also graced television screens in shows like Casualty and Death in Paradise as well as playing the role of Ted in our own debut game, Thing-in-Itself. In Cabernet, Sam plays Ivan, the charismatic leader of a revolutionary group. Ivan is determined to bring change, but at what cost? We're delighted to welcome Sam to our team and are eagerly anticipating the upcoming announcements about the cast.

I love these indie developers. There isn't much to say about this in a review. It's a well written story that you won't regret spending 1-2 euro on depending on sale price or not. And Party for introverts deserve the support.
