Feels like every aspect of this game was randomly generated. Just a whole bunch of things thrown together. who wants to do inventory management in a boomer shooter???? Most enemies just charge at you. fire your gun and you cant even see whats going on (muzzle flare, giant bullets etc.) so in order to know that you've killed an enemy, the game will pause and briefly turn black and white....... Encounters just werent...

"Devilated" has quickly become one of my examples of game design not being a science, but an example of art and witchcraft. In theory a lot of things in the game shouldn't work together and yet they do, but it's both a strength and a weakness. It can frequently be too much and overstimulating (I needed breaks from all the action, gore, blood, and guts), it's absolutely unhinged, part challenging spectacle shooter...
