The price is a steal and the mechanics are sound. Combat is quick and has a chess-like strategy to it. If you fail, you can immediately retry endlessly... and here lies the only issue: some bosses are too hard that force you to go back to previous maps to grind for XP, items (used to improve the equip) and try again. About half the time is spent this way, which is a pity, and i'm afraid that near the end it can get...

I love how lighthearted Micronomicon: Heroes look (despite looking a lot like a mobile game) and feel (pretty good graphics, excellent music), but I seriously cannot recommend this game, mainly because of its completely RNG-based combat, and terrible balancing. This is a cute game, I like it, and it's fun. You can't beat the price for what you get. However, there are some concerns. First of all, I can't find a way to start a new game. I played for a while until I got the hang of things and then I wanted to start over and do things 'right.' Well, as far as I can see, you can't start over.
