Updates 1 and 2 to Asteroids Millennium have been released! These latest updates include full controller support, full screen support, some bug fixes, and other minor game play improvements! Here is a complete list of updates: • added full controller support for Windows and Linux---this has been successfully tested with the Logitech F710, XBox 360, Playstation DS4, and Logitech Extreme 3D controllers • added full screen support • added slight gradual acceleration when turning the ship with keyboard controls for greater accuracy • player can now either hold or repeatedly press the fire button to shoot • added 5 new backdrops • made minor improvements to some graphical effects • addressed some bugs that may cause graphical glitches on some systems • other minor bugfixes Enjoy!

This is not my asteroids. The boost is way over throttled so you get way too fast instantly, the game doesn't support stretched full screen so you have a black box around the whole game, rocks don't split after you hit them once, and you select where you spawn.

If you like Asteriods and want a game that is a bit more evolved than Asteroids Deluxe and still has the charm of the classics, you'll like this game. If you balk at games that aren't 4K, then it isn't for you. Yes the controls can be PitA to set up, but when you do, it will be worth it. Yes, this is Asteroids modern version! You can play the classic version or the modern version of Asteroids Millennium. The classic version is like the 1979 version, with only one UFO that comes into play amongst the accumulating asteroids.
