Better than 'Windows (live) Movie Maker' or 'Real' free editors. I recommend getting a newer edition than this 16 version, though, as it doesn't have support for webm. I wish cyberlink would make their whole package available for sale on steam. It's cheaper to buy the complete suite from their site, but it's easier to install from steam so I just got the duo of this and the photo editor when on sale.

This software is amazing, I can use luts and use vst with the wave editor. I reconmend this for any video editor, All I would ask for is a bit more feautures like a tv simulaor. You can also use Color Director to do luts, I have not been able to get SVRT working so rendering is sorta slugish and slow but if you can use svrt its fast from what i hear. All in all I really like this software its pretty damn good for...

Too old, slow and does not have enough options for different file formats. wmv format is not universal
