Update 1.4.0

2024-09-13

There's no changes to the code and assets of the game this time. After watching a bunch of streamers play The Lost Recipes, I've decided to add (more) bean soup cauldrons to larger, exploration-focused levels, in the base game too. It's not going to turn it into an easy game, but should be more welcoming to the players who are after the certain achievements, while still being difficult to master.

A charming game. I like the visual style, the game-play feels good, and overall little details, like the goblin sweating when you hang on the platform or a little bunny appearing behind a snow hill are awesome. A retro platformer with basic mechanics. There are over 30 levels that you beat and unlock one by one, all with varying lengths and difficulty. Most of them are straightforward. On the more complex and open ones, you can easily get lost on your first run, as it's usually not obvious where to go.
