This game has an annoying background effect where every minute or so the color will shift from very dark to white for around 2 seconds and then fade back to dark for another minute or so. It feels a little bit like having someone shine a flashlight in your eyes when you're trying to concentrate and doesn't appear to have any way to disable it.
