Verdant Skies 1.5.3 - Fix Unity Security Vulnerability

This morning Unity reported a security vulnerability in its engine and provided a fix. Verdant Skies has been rebuilt with that fix. Details about their vulnerability are here: • https://unity.com/security/sept-2025-01 • https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2025-59489 I don't think there's really any chance Verdant Skies would be a vector for this attack, but I've fixed the issue anyway! I’ve definitely given Verdant Skies a fair chance, but overall it just felt like playing it was a chore. I actually bought this title forever ago when it was first hitting the scene around 2017. For years, I went on and off attempting to play it, but I just could never get it to grow on me. I finally forced myself to sink in a bunch of hours to try and make it work, but in the end, I still left feeling disappointed...

I SMASHED this game in like 3 days. Some of the mechanics are confusing at first but then you realize it's a lot easier than you think. My only criticism is that some of the controls are a little stiff and before you get the speed upgrade you walk infuriatingly slow. That being said I literally couldn't put this down for three days straight

Hard to make rating for this. • gameplay itself - good (not excellent) • no pass-out by time • click to move (pretty rare) • general resources is cheap to buy from store • no need to give gifts • gameplay progress with social "work" (be friend and get better tech) • story behind - good • link between story and gameplay - bad • Social part/main quest ends around of middle gameplay mechanics -> after is just...
