Legendary DXP

Marvel Legendary with fantasy characters in single player mode for free. What's not to like. You can unlock all the stuff by playing. The unlocks may take a while, but I expect I'll just buy them for $10 before long. In the meantime, what's not to like. It's free. It's fun. It's the same game as the Upper Deck Legendary boardgames--but on PC. Fun lunch diversion.

Great game. Every card has unique effects so no 1 game is exactly the same. There are multiple ways to play with cooperative quick matches, competitive gauntlets, and more! The community is great and the devs are super responsive through Discord if you have any questions or find a stray squirrel in the system. Overall, a good time :)

A second revision for my review. I have spent nearly 300 hours in this game, so you'd think I'd somehow manage to be positive about it, but sadly that's not the case. Most of that time was spent in bursts of bug testing to try and get the developers to fix the game. On the plus side, the developers did finally take some action and sort out the worst of the bugs. I wantted really badly to love this game-- I love playing Marvel Legendary (tabletop) and this is pretty much the same but without Marvel attached. However, Legendary DXP carries some pretty major flaws, before even considering the abrupt change to F2P that leaves me feeling screwed over. Negatives: -UI just makes it feel bloated.
