Tiny Metal is a wonderful "Wars-inspired" title with emphasis on pincer tactics. The game encourage the player minimizing losses – as units rank up the more enemies they take down, along with giving you points for repairing them. The fact units have different amount of physical soldiers/tanks/planes/helicopters in each unit type squad (and special units vary from normal ones), really make you think about how to...

I really wanted to like this game. Aside from the controls being a bit clunky, it's fairly polished and plays decently, but an advance wars successor it is not. Gameplay depth is just way too shallow to keep my attention. No naval units, no different "commanders", no troop carriers. To be clear I wasn't necessarily looking for AW 3, but aside from a few mechanics (hero drop, focus-fire) it doesn't feel innovating...

Advanced wars vibes 100% If you like AW then this will deliver. Does some things different (e.g., no gas for machines), but does some things different as well, like multiple units attacking at once. Fun game and would recommend. Resolution change is seemingly not working, though. Update: Just finished the campaign. Tiny Metal may be even more fun than AW.
