Krampus Quest

Pass until issues are fixed. The game is obviously close to castlevania. The experience I had when playing the game was...ok. It wasn't a great experience even with the issues I'll talk about but it wasn't a horrible one either. In fairness I've only played about 15 minutes so I couldn't get deep enough into the game to say how good it could be. The biggest issues I encountered have to do with the really slow combat....

Controls are absolutely atrocious. The game is buggy and doesn't always respond in the way you'd expect it to (e.g. hook jumps feel awkward and wrong). Projectiles, hooks, jumping and just about everything else is sluggish. I purchased this on a whim to do a Christmas gaming video on it, but was pleasantly surprised to find a competent Castlevania clone that played well. The only real detriment to this game is the lack of controller support and some other minor issues.
