Players will share in the pet’s thoughts as the hours pass, the weather worsens, and its health fades, learning the depths of the animal’s trust as things continue to get worse and worse. Barney, the dog, has been left alone in the desert, tied to a stake by his owner who has left him behind. Barney will not be entirely alone, as he will be visited by other animals, with players making dialogue choices that will take the story in a handful of different directions. Barney will also be haunted by dreams and visions of his past happy life, and nightmares about his current situation.
