Android Release You can now play Chess Cubed anywhere! Cross-platform play has come to the Android platform. Download Chess Cubed from the Play Store. New mode Survival mode has been added. When this mode is selected HP will not regenerate. Balance updates ♞ Knight movement cost has been updated to reflect a better cost to mobility balance. This balance update supports the movement sequence pictured below at a cost of 2 energy. Just imagine the possibilities...

The devs essentially abandoned the game after release. No AI, nobody to play with, and the game mechanics are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. This game had a lot of potential, but it seems to have been squandered by a dev team who quickly moved on to other things after a quick cash grab.

IS IT WORTH THE COST? Where to begin? I have been interested in the concept behind this game for some time and boy did it not disappoint! While the $10 price tag may seem like it is a bit much for a game like this I promise it is worth it (assuming you have another friend that will also pick it up to play with you).
