I don't often write reviews but I feel like this is an important one. Beware of buying this game on Steam; the "Steam Edition" of the game has been stripped of much of its online functionality. The entire "Online Apps" tree of the game menu has been removed in this version of the game. Additionally, it does not seem to be possible to log on to the online Playchess servers with anything other than a guest account. ...

Do not buy the game; if you think that you can play on ChessBase with this game. Because you cannot. Online options are erased in this version. You can just analyse your games or play against Fritz. Funny thing is, It does not allow you to reach your ChessBase account as well. This amount of money just for a chess GUI. Nope, thank you.

Very pleasant chess GUI, the engine is also very strong (and you can add even stronger ones, such as stockfish etc...) I like the livebook/let's check functions they add another level to chess knowledge (and it's quite fun to "compete" for some discovered positions or winning positions) I will recommend this if it's your first step into computer chess (along with the free alternative of course) but despite...
