The gameplay blends classic Shoot 'em up mechanics with modern low poly graphics, particles, shaders, and a hardcore soundtrack. Annihilate an army of machines, and afterward, annihilate their bosses—go all the way to confirm that your battle paid off.

Hey everyone, i've patched the Windows version following the recent news of the Unity security vulnerability that could affect all games builds of the past few years. I don’t have the possibility to rebuild the macOS version right now, so for safety reasons, I had to remove it.

GROOD * 7/10 Remember Metal Slug? Good. Now GROOD is a scrolling shooter, way more difficult and modern in different ways. Featuring some very Heavy Metal music. And some minor bugs/glitches. INTRO & GAMEPLAY. What is GROOD about And How does it work? I don't see much sense in telling the story. Machines invades earth, you build a ship called GROOD and get out blowing up enemies. Right off the bat - I do like this game - or at least I like parts of what is here. GROOD has edge and oomph. But it's underdeveloped in terms of gameplay. I think it has an identity crisis. While it feels like it wants to be a rogueish sidescroller, there isn't really any progression (run-based or meta). I've only come across two minor gun powerups and a health pickup.
