Mac users may now experience the VR world with the HTC Vive headset. This requires the SteamVR app beta. In Library > Tools, right-click (or control-click) on SteamVR and go to Properties; select the "Betas" tab and choose SteamVR Beta from the dropdown. Then launch the SteamVR app to configure your HTC Vive.

This is a very useful (and fun) educational tool. What happens in particle colliders can often be very hard to visualise, even for people working in the field of particle physics. Belle II in Virtual Reality is a free VR educational tool about subatomic particles physics simulations. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. There is a quick reference guide in store page. You can slowly move in VR using your two trackpads. Controls (at least for keyboard/mouse) are bad and you can't change them. Good effort though. Could probably use some polishing and an update.
