2026-06-03Seven years after the original release, Black Paradox gets its biggest update ever. The Reloaded Update is now live, and it's completely free for everyone who owns the game. This is the version we always wanted to ship. Same time-jumping bounty hunter shoot 'em up at the core , but rebuilt to feel right for 2026, for newcomers and veterans alike. What's in the Reloaded Update • Fully redesigned visuals - Every sprite, every effect, every UI element has been reworked from the ground up. The neon-soaked retrofuture aesthetic is now where we always wanted it to be. • Rebalanced difficulty - We listened to seven years of feedback. The learning curve is smoother, the early hours more inviting, and the late game still demands everything you've got.

If you want to play the 2019 Black Paradox exactly as it was, it's still there for you on the ClassicBlackParadox branch. To switch: right-click Black Paradox in your library → Properties → Betas → enter access code ClassicBlackParadox → select "ClassicBlackParadox" from the dropdown. Switch back anytime by choosing "None" from the same dropdown. A note from Fantastico Studio Black Paradox started as a small Italian indie project in 2018.
