Alone is a 3D Puzzle Sidescroller with heavy focus on environment puzzles. You wake up alone in your camp and find your friends gone. Set off into the seemingly nice forest to discover its secrets, but be careful not to lose yourself on the way.

Alone Gameplay The visual style is a similiar to INSIDE, although less detailed. It's definitely far more 'janky' - the controls and handling of the puzzles/obsacles isn't the best sometimes. Grabbing a ladder or reaching a platform will often not go as you think and you will die. Argghhh. Most of the puzzles/ obstacles are fun and easy to figure out. Checkpoints are very generious and it should take 30-40 min...

This is so bad that even at less than a quid it's taking the piss expecting anyone to pay for it. Playing it, it's like they crossed Goat Simulator, or Getting Over It With Benedict Foddy, with Inside. Like, what a side scrolling platformer / puzzler needs is physics that don't obey the rules of physics, and awful controls, to make an amazing example of the genre. Alone is a dark take on the platformer genre like Limbo and Inside before it. Alone combines subtle narrative and challenging puzzles in the environment to good effect but still needs a lot of polish both in it´s presentation and gameplay to rival other platformers on the market. The controls are awful. It's hard to control the character properly. This game doesn't look bad, it looks sort of artistic. Although some areas feel loveless designed and due to the big lack of accurate control over your character, I can not recommend this game.
