Magic Chess

This game may look nice on screenshots, but that is basically all there is. You can rotate the camera around, but not change its position. Pieces attacking other pieces have an attack animation, but it is without any sound and the attacked pieces just vanish unanimated before the attack animation starts. Some units (specifically pawn and bishop) are hard to distinguish due to the theming. There is an overlaid board...

The pieces' behavior is terribly weird. The opposing piece disappears THEN they move their weapons to kill it. It's nonsense. Also the table goes beyond the screen.

OK. I bought this game because I got attracted by the anamited characters playing as different pieces on the board. However other than thatthere is nothing else to this game. I played a few matches and I become bored of it very fast. It would have helped if the characters each had sounds of their own to make them more interesting. And also maybe add some effects when a piece destroys another and not just make it...
