Halloween Mega Update (2018.3 - v1.4)
2018-10-25What's new for Vagrant Fury this Halloween season: POWER UPS The Player now has two types of powerups, which he can activate after he has shot enough baddies. A reminder screen will pop-up to... well, remind you to use your awesome powers! The first type of powerup is Offensive: it allows you to inflict more damage per shot, and dispatch baddies more quickly. The second type of powerup is Defensive: a shield will appear around you, greatly reducing the damage you receive, thus allowing you to tank it when a baddie somehow manages to throw a giant rocket at your face: SUMMONS FOR THE BOSSES When a main boss gets too much damage for his liking, he'll summon a special attack with his Magical Cheesy Summon Pose. The special attack will persist until you defeat the boss. INTROS FOR THE BOSSES & SUB-BOSSES

The bosses & sub-bosses now have animated intros to introduce them: OTHER STUFF Last, but not least: • All the bosses and sub-bosses have music themes now, if not making them more friendly, at least making them more trendy! • The gameplay for all levels has been tuned up to account for the player's powerups as well as the bosses' summons. This includes weapon damage, ammo, health stats, etc.
