The 2.0.2 Update Is Here

As you may have already noticed, we've just pushed the newest version of MixCast, 2.0.2, to Steam! This update is balanced between quality of life improvements for all users, as well as increased support for various SDKs, which will empower developers using MixCast in tandem with their own projects. What's New in 2.0.2? • Added full support for the Elgato Cam Link • Improved color space conversions in MixCast textures • Added buffer delay to input feed projection • Added support for SteamVR SDK 2.0 preview • Added support for Unreal 4.20 • Builds including the MixCast SDK on OSX will no longer report errors • Updated to latest Intel RealSense SDK integration • Improved usability of chroma key colour selection • Fixed an occasional recording crash • The in-VR preview window now appears in all titles when using an Oculus Rift Tell us what you think!

Mixcast Studio does not work as advertised with Windows Mixed Reality HMD's on Win 10 Pro. Spent half a day configuring and trouble shooting after buying the year subscription. App hangs and crashes and won't close on termination either. Sad shame would have been great if it worked.

Very nice, unfortunitly it's not intuitive and the youtube channel doesn't help as it's based on the old version. The fact you have to sign-up through their service, and pay monthly for more features is a no from me. On top of these; I can't figure out how to play a game with the software... I start a game but MixCast closes before the other starts.

In its current state I can't recommend this. It completely unintuitive and the docs and videos are for an older version of the software making things even harder. Using the static background removal I was unable to get acceptable video quality. Many programs just don't work (Beat Sabre for example). And even when they do work I often had to start them twice to get them to work. And finally the "loading screen", the...
