This is a very good series, but this particular game is not very good. At least they tried to be original (unlike many of the Artifax Mundi games). It was a good attempt at being original. However, the main game was too short and ended too abruptly. I don't even understand what happened at the end. Some of the mechanics in the main game were really confusing. I didn't care for the mini-games. If you get it cheap...

Definitely a "sale" purchase with low expectations. This is a very short point & click story with some hidden object finding in it. I was disappointed after having had such fun with the 2nd & 3rd in the Sable Maze series. The story is poorly written and disjointed, and definitely not for someone who is an Edgar Allen Poe fan. A particularly lazy Hidden Object game. It took me only 3 hours to complete - and that's including the bonus chapter! For comparison, other titles in the "Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe" I played took me at least 4,5 hours to beat.
