Patch Notes #2 - Bestiary Update

(Redacted parts contain spoilers!) Bestiary: - The in-game menu now features a new page that displays descriptions of monsters you've encountered. - Monster entries are primarily unlocked by damaging the monsters. - There are over 80 entries available in the Bestiary. Miscellaneous Improvements (some of these were previously implemented): - Unread Atlas entries (as well as Bestiary ones) are now highlighted with an exclamation mark until they are read. - Added a "Mouse and Keyboard Recommended" text element in the main menu, which is displayed if a controller is being used, to guide players towards the optimal experience. - Addressed a highly requested improvement by providing guidance in the late game for finding Gloomsouls. Once the Gloomsouls have been freed, speaking to Voidchild in the Chapel of Doom will reveal the locations where the souls can be found. Bug Fixes:

- In-game menus no longer extend beyond the screen when using an ultrawide monitor. - Corrected an issue where burning all Dread Indoctrination tools without collecting all Gloomsouls would unlock the wrong ending. Using the doomblade to move around or in combat is both extremly unique and very fun. The coolest thing that happened while playing was actually the nature of the fast travel, where you get dragged from one warp point to another at high speed. Once I got some of the late game abilities I realized you could just abandon the fast travel network and access non-conected points by moving through the void on your own,...

Update: Beat the game, most of this review still stands. The only thing that would have made me significantly dislike my experience is looking for something near the end of the game without map markers, if you return to the place you were told to go, you will get map markers for them. It's got a bit rough design in some parts but the combat system is really unique and this has a lot less "♥♥♥♥ you for no reason"...

Amazing Metroidvenia. I enjoyed the time playing the game. I would recommend it even on full price.
