Not keeping completed stage progress between sessions is laughably awful. Even if it was done intentionally the games it is trying to emulate at least occasionally had stage codes. Even flash games often saved progress between sessions. The game is not even okay enough to play for that. The gameplay consists of doing a combo over and over with some platforming. Once again previous mentioned older games at least often...
