ViewTracker 1.5 released

It's been a long time, and much has changed since ViewTracker was originally developed. Thanks to everyone who has purchased and used ViewTracker over the years. This update is a much needed refresh with big improvements to tracking accuracy and stability. I hope it brings additional joy to your gaming sessions. Full change log • New tracking model • Removed always online requirement • Bug fixes involving camera selection • Fix for configuring game detection without a profile • All libraries and dependencies updated Edit: Version 1.5.1 includes a fix for a camera selection issue that made it into the release version.

This hasn't been updated for a long time, on top of this it appears to be a clone of the free 'Opentrack', which is actively still developed and now has face tracking capabilities which appear to be just as good, if not better. Save your money and get Opentrack or AItrack

I really like this - I used to use TrackIR 5 Pro and loved it, but it's started having some hardware problems (i've had it a long time so not complaining about that) so I thought i'd give this a shot after the author sent me a copy. My webcam is a Logitech C920 so it's fairly decent, i'm also in a decently lit room which I also use for Streaming - so fairly well the ideal circumstances for an application like this....

Viewtracker is 1/10 less expensive that Trackir 5 and will work with DCS quite adequately but I found that Trackir 5 is far easier to set up is seemss to be a little more stable. One must decide if the extra cost is worth the slight improvement of function.
