Update 58.200 - Menu Overhaul
2026-09-18Menu Overhaul Most of the screens you open outside the game have been rebuilt, and there is a lot more you can change now. Survival tips with twelve videos built straight into the game, and a menu that behaves the same on the title screen and mid-run. One menu, everywhere Rows are grouped, the page you are on stays lit, and Escape closes what is in front of you instead of everything at once. Pause in the middle of a run and you get the same menu you get on the title screen, not a different one with different options. Sound and game settings, rebuilt Both pages existed before. Both were rebuilt, and the important part is that they now work properly between app launches - set them once and they are still there tomorrow.

Sound is separate volume sliders that apply while you drag them, so you set them against the sound you are actually hearing. Game covers night length, key map display, invert look, nudity and language. Faster nights The faster night now starts at 17:30 in game time. You can still sleep in a bed to fast forward through it. Save and load, from the menu Both are in the menu, with a confirmation step so you cannot overwrite a run by misclicking. Load works from a cold start, not only mid-run. Game tips, with video The tips page is a list of problems, not a slideshow you page through. Click the question you have - why your fire will not light, why the trap catches nothing - and the answer is next to it. Twelve tutorial videos ship inside the game, so you do not have to leave for a browser to learn how something works. They play silently with the explanation on screen, and they never start on their own. Update news in the game The screen you land on is now the changelog: this update, what is coming next, and older updates behind it. You no longer have to come to Steam to find out what changed. Player stats moved Your stats are no longer a menu page. They now sit in the inventory screen, next to crafting, storage and missions, which is where you already are when you want to look at them. Fixes • Opening the menu or the inventory no longer rotates the player camera • New run and death screens rebuilt • Several smaller bugs sorted along the way • The demo gets all of the above What has not changed yet Not everything got the overhaul. Controls are still the old page and stay that way until the input system is migrated off the old Unreal Engine 4 setup, which is the next job. A few smaller pages are untouched, and the inventory screen that now holds your stats has not been reworked itself yet. One more thing To get more news on the new map, provide reports and feedback, please join our Discord: https://discord.gg/XW3jaebbwH And if this update changed how the game runs for you, please consider updating your review. Reviews are how other players decide whether to look, and an old review of an old build helps nobody. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with this. Juraj Bachar Game Creator
