Index and Knuckles Support
2022-01-07Support for Knuckles controllers and Vive Index has been added! Tribetoy the company that made the game was acquired and no longer exists. The BTB IP was not part of the acquisition and thus does not have any official support. I can only work on this in my spare time and now that I have a kid, I don’t have a lot, but I did the best I could to bring you index support. I had to make some control mapping tradeoffs because the knuckle controllers need their own unique input manager that is not compatible with the cross platform PSVR based input system Bow to Blood was built on. Saddly replacing a cross platform input system is no small task and not something I can do alone with the time I have. • To Grip you’ll need to use the B buttons rather then the grips. (They are toggle grips though! So, press once to grab and then once to drop)

• Overshield is both B buttons at once rather than a single button. • Re-centering the headset is a bit clunky though you can do it from the menu as well. Right B (hold) + Right stick press (hold) • Opening menu is Left B + Left stick press. you can also interact with the inworld menu button that appears after the initial tutorial. • The Knuckle controllers will appear as Oculus Touch controllers in game. • Everything else works as it would. Even with the limitations that forced some of the mappings mentioned above I think the game is a lot of fun with knuckle controllers and hope people enjoy playing it free of charge. This is far from the most commercially successful game I have made but it is my personal favorite. Thanks to those that supported the game, much love. -Matthew Hoesterey
