When closing the game without following the menus, an autosave will be created. When resuming the game, the autosave will be loaded by default. For those who have been relying on save scumming, it's recommended to use the loading screen instead of the resume button.

I really wanted to like Budgie Genetics Simulator. I love budgies. There is a significant lack of good genetics games, especially on Steam. The graphics are cute, the game is straightforward enough to figure out, and the genetics are interesting. It could use a little more of a tutorial, but honestly at $6.99, it's completely worth it

This game was purchased for me as a birthday gift and wow, what a cute little simulator!! The available genetics are robust. It does not have rare captive variants like "hagoromo" or the means to make a "halfsider" chimera like the famous Twinzy, but you can make something as complex as a cinnamon recessive yellowface or even a "creamino", a variant of ino.
