First thing you need to know about this game is that you should not use steam to play it, but install the knossos launcher after and having the game installed on your computer in order to run the modded version with quality of life features and better graphics. Doesn't work out of the box (shame on you, Steam, for allowing this to happen) but is easy enough to fix with the excellent Freespace Open Installer (http://www.fsoinstaller.com/). Do yourself a few favors: 1) Buy the game. 2) Install FSO. 3) Dust off your old joystick. 4) Enjoy playing this superb space combat simulator. 'Nuff said!
