Aurora Flight Version 1.5.2: Experimental VR Support
2026-07-09Aurora Flight Version 1.5.2 is now available. This update adds and adjusts experimental VR support. At the moment, basic flight and combat have been confirmed to work using Meta Quest 2 + Steam Link. VR mode is available not only in the full version, but also in the public demo. In VR, you can experience aircraft attitude, speed, altitude, and the positional relationship between you and enemy aircraft from a different perspective than standard display play. The physics-based lift and drag model, energy management, and wingman AI can be experienced with a stronger sense of immersion. Please note that VR support is still experimental. Depending on your environment, you may experience performance drops, visual issues, HUD readability problems, or differences in controls and handling. Currently confirmed: ・Basic operation with Meta Quest 2 + Steam Link

If performance is not comfortable, please try lowering resolution, graphics settings, cloud settings, or other visual options. To reduce the risk of VR sickness, please avoid long continuous play sessions and take breaks according to your condition. Standard display play remains the primary play environment for Aurora Flight. Please treat VR mode as an experimental additional feature at this stage. We will continue adjusting VR display, HUD readability, performance, and controls. Thank you for playing Aurora Flight.
