Chamber of the Sci-Mutant Priestess

I have no idea what people thought of this game at the time when it came out, but it is honestly just too old now to get a good experience. For $6.99, there are better games that can take priority over this one.

Yeah, It's definitely an 'acquired taste', as it always was, but it does have a cool story (which was apparently lost in translation) and some humourous moments (acquired in translation), which can be explored with your favourite Hitachi-Gauss Fetus and/or favourtie A.I. The gameplay is very close to the Amiga, but at the time of release, the Amiga actually 'had' a soundboard, but it wasn't too long after this game...

Old-school point-and-click puzzler where the plot makes about as much sense as it sounds, and that's the appeal. You're a psionic mutant trying to rescue your girlfriend from a temple full of Protozorqs, working through five turn-limited ordeals using powers that range from "light up the room" to straight up "kill this guy telepathically." The icon interface is clunky by modern standards but grows on you once it...
