I love the premise and I love the execution. Still, I just cannot in good conscience recommend this, unless you really want to be frustrated. The main issue is the save system coupled with the constant crashes. I get the idea of forcing the player to "feel the burden" and to avoid save scumming. 5 hours of tutorials and still don't understand how things work. UX is bad. Explanations are weak. It's disappointing because I like the premise a lot and could tell I would like the game if I could get over the controls and understanding. The concepts are simple. Indirect fire+flanking fire to cover for a direct assault. Getting it to actually execute is painful, unintuitive, and poorly taught.

I want to like this game a lot. However, it's insufficiently tested, and rather buggy. That would be less of a problem if the game weren't so ambitious narratively, and so dedicated to being opaque in design.
