VirtuaCreature (Legacy Version)

I had a lot of high hopes for this game; it was recently new and had a bit of a Tomogatchi spin that I thought would make the game fun. Most of the time I spent in game was figuring out what the heck to do. There's no in-game tutorial or pointer or anything to let you know what does what and where. There's nothing in game to help you with the combat system, either, or tell you 'hey it's like rock paper scissors'...

VirtuaCreature offers cute evolving creatures and throwbacks to Tamagotchi days of yore. Unfortunately, the gameplay does not deliver on what is a compelling initial concept. Pet care and training take place through dreadful minigames, and the combat system is shallow and boring. These form the core of the gameplay. I really do like the concept here, but the game is simply not fun to play so I can't recommend it...
