Not sure if every game Ubisoft makes needs to launch a separate game launcher, but I'm not interested in doing so and I won't be purchasing anymore games from them. Refunded

ubisoft insists on making an account with them and connecting to wifi and logging in before you can play the game even though it's a single player game.. thanks for wasting my time installing this brain dead ubisoft

I loved this game in it's original form. Now that it is on Steam, Ubisoft requires you to have an account and be logged in in order to play. Don't waste your money

Reviewing games I played a long time ago: I love the old Anno games, 1602 being my all time favourite. This sequel always felt to me the odd one in the series since its not that much of an improvement over the 1st one, and its still in 2D when it was getting already out of fashion. But its still a blast to play, anyway. This edition comes with modern features, but unfortunaly also with the Ubisoft launcher
