Hi everybody, We have great news for you! You can play Castaway VR on your Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality now! Patch Changes (v1.04) New: Creative Game Mode added. This is a cool concept. There is a severe motion sickness issue (at least for me) that makes playing this game longer than 20 minutes impossible. It is not optimized. This is the only VR game that has given me motion sickness. I'll try it again once it's better optimized. If you've gotten motion sickness before playing in VR, I don't recommend this game.

Last update in November, and now on sale? Still the controls are misaligned with the weapons standard for every other VR title. Such a good idea, and potential....

First VR game purchased. Didnt work, wouldn't get past the intro screen. Kept with it as dev responsed to discussion comments and seemed to promise prompt updates, and a fix for WMR headets. Then nothing, all quiet for months. For that reason I dont recommend.

It looks like there’s no further development taking place with this game. Now that it has gone on sale again, I thought I should write a review so that others who might be enticed by the $3 price tag know what they are getting into! Will you like this game? That depends on you. If you’re really bothered by imperfections, you probably won’t like spending three bucks on this. If you’re super into sim and survival...
